So often when I hear people talk about healing the Earth I consider just how ancient and powerful the Earth is and how mistaken it can seem to speak of humans healing her. She is mostly healing us. That being said, humans have caused a lot of harm and it is really this detritus of our behaviors–the human imprints on the land–, that calls for a return to balance, for awareness, recognition and healing. And as always, it is our responsibility to initiate this process and to cooperate with the spirits we are in relationship with who can do the “heavy lifting” in the formless realm.
